Totally excellent dentist. his attention to detail saved the day when another dentist wanted to put in less expensive materials; aware of my food allergies, Dr. K alerted them, demanded they use the more expensive and that are known to be better for people with high food sensitivity. I wasn't aware of the difference, he was and he didn't hesitate to correct one of his colleagues in the best interest of the patient. He is meticulous, very knowledgeable and keeps himself up to date on the latest dental research, and really cares about his patients.

My name is Esther Renteria and I know Dr. Kirk A. Kalogiannis for at least 20 years. I will never see another dentist. He is kind, considerate, and thorough and I feel very comfortable when I go for check-ups.

When I first met him he was starting his career and I had a very bad tooth that had to be pulled; he was patient kind and very considerate. He was then working with another doctor but soon when he open his own practice, of course, I followed him and I don't think I will feel comfortable with any other dentist.

As someone who is terrified of dentists, I had avoided essential treatment for a number of years. However, pain is a strong motivator and eventually I realized that I desperately needed professional care. A co-worker, to whom I confessed my dilemma, highly recommended Dr. Kalogiannis. She had told me that not only is he well educated, highly trained and experienced, but that he also teaches at NYU School of Dentistry.

I'll never forget that first visit. I was so nervous. I actually cried during the initial examination. However, Dr. Kalogiannis was kind and caring and treated me in a totally non-judgemental manner. He got me through the subsequent visits, cured my infections and ultimately recommended a course of treatment, patiently explaining my options.

It has now been quite a few years since that first visit. In addition to routine dental care, I have had a full set of impalnts. I could not be happier with the results and, for the first time in years, I smile with a very wide-open mouth. I am so comfortable (and confident) in Dr. Kalogiannis that I would not consider going to another dentist - thies despite the fact that I travel from Brooklyn to be his patient. And, while being there will also be better things to do with a Saturday than going to the dentist, I no longer get nervous and actually enjoy the visit. Thank you Dr. K.

This summer while I was in USA on vacation to visit my brother in NJ, I  had a dental emergency because of a wisdom tooth.  Luckily I found Dr.Kirk, who took care of my problem and immediately  performed a Caldwell-Luc surgery. 

The surgery has been successfully done. Even the recovery has been very  fast, painless and without any complications. 

So, after that, I had the chance to complete my vacation in the US and come back to Italy without any further problems.

Quest'estate, mentre ero in vacanza in New Jersey, ho avuto un'emergenza a causa di un problema al dente del giudizio. 

Fortunatamente ho conosciuto il Dott. Kirk, che ha subito analizzato la mia situazione in bocca e mi ha operata di urgenza (l'intervento che ha eseguito è chiamato Caldwell-Luc). 

L'intervento è riuscito perfettamente. Anche il recupero è stato rapido e senza complicanze. E io ho potuto continuare la mia vacanza negli USA e tornare in Italia più in forma che mai.
